So, we only have 5 more weeks.. hopefully 4 or less... till baby Allie gets here. Yes, we have finally chosen a name Allie Robins. We are so excited. I can't wait to sleep through the night without having to get up and pee!! I can't wait to walk up a flight of stairs and not be out of breath and I can't wait to see my feet again. My feet have really gotten swollen these last couple of weeks. Dusty took a picture the other night so I will have to post it. I have major kankles!

Lake Powell 2007

Let’s just say it was a whole new experience being big and pregnant! There was no trying to look cute in your new swimsuit, showing off on the wake board or early morning skiing. Just sitting in the boat being a “fat sack”! Yes, that is what they called me the fat sack. There is a new thing this year (don’t think it’s new this year it’s just more popular this year) called wake surfing. I don’t know if any of you have heard of it but it looks really fun. You are off the back of the boat I would say 4ft?? and you have a rope just to help you get up then you try to “catch the wave” and by doing this you can ride the wave behind the boat without a rope. But in order for there to be a big enough wave for you to do this some people put these sacks that are filled with water called “fat sacks” in the back of the boat but since we didn’t have those and we had 2 pregnant women that’s what we were! We had a blast this year at Powell it seemed like we didn’t tube and do the usual stuff. Probably because we had 2 pregnant girls and 2 kids! Taylor is 2 and is so dang cute and Ashley is 2 months old. They are my sister Becca and her husband Doug’s kids. It’s weird to see your family start changing by next year we will have 4 grandkids at Lake Powell. I can’t believe how fast time flies.
CALIFORNIA HERE WE COME

This past weekend we drove all the way to California for our McCuistion family reunion/Grandpa’s 80th birthday. It was so fun to get to see all of the family and spend time with people I haven’t seen in years. We left Thursday afternoon so we could drive all the way Thursday and wake up early Friday to go to the Beach. We had so much fun at the beach. Dusty brought his body board and was in the water from the time we got there till the time we left. He loves it. Plus he found some really cool sunglasses in the water and he was pretty excited about that. After the beach we drove back to Yucipa where my Dad’s house is to get ready for the BBQ. My Aunt Lisa was in charge of reunion and did a fantastic job. I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of it. We started the reunion with dinner at my Uncle Mike and Aunt Cindy’s house and after dinner watched a movie of Grandpa and Grandma McCuistion at Christmas in their cabin at Lake Arrowhead it was a really touching video to see. It makes you realize how fast life really is. Saturday the boys played basketball at 7:00 while us girls got to sleep in a little bit and get ready for the family pictures that started at 9:00.

Lake Powell Count Down!!
Well, we are 5 days away from heading down to Lake Powell this year and we can't wait. This is one of the trips we look forward to so much. I told Dusty if we can help it this will be our only pregnancy through the summer!! I am not looking forward to being hot and uncomfortable the whole time. But I love being with the family and my brother's wife, Paris, is pregnant and about 3 weeks behind me so at least we'll have eachother.

A Little More About Us

Dustin and I met back in 2004 at a friends wedding. We started dating immediatley after we met. Only a few dates later I invited him to come to Lake Powell with my family! Seriously we had been on like 4 dates but it felt like we had known each other forever so it wasn't weird for me to invite him to Lake Powell until I came to pick him up. His family was all there and when I came to the door he invited me in and then said," Everyone this is....what's your name again?" I thought I was going to die right there it was horrible. He was just joking but it was really embarrassing!! Despite all of his jokes we fell in love and have been married now for almost 2 years. We are anxiously awaiting the birth of our baby girl due in September. We are so excited to be parents and to have this little girl in our home it can't get here faster!

One Year Annivesary
I wanted to go back and post some stuff that has taken place in the last year. Dustin and I hit our one year mark! We took a little weekend get away and went and stayed at the Holiday Inn in Salt Lake. Dusty has a friend who is a manger there and he got us a really good deal on a suite. We were living with my parents at the time because our place wasn't finished being built yet so this trip was much needed! We had so much fun! We went shopping at the gateway, walked around temple square and then Dusty took me out to dinner to the roof. We had so much fun getting all dressed up. We ate dinner right at sunset and the view was absolutly georgeous.
