Time is going so fast. It's seems like I just had Avie and now she is one. I usually am excited when my kids get older. I enjoy them being able to talk to me and play with me. For some reason the night before Avies Birthday I got all sad. You need to understand with me, newborns are fun to hold and look at but to me they bring me so much anxiety. Allie ruined me. She was such a hard newborn she would cry for hours on end and I never new what to do to get her to stop. So when I see a newborn or have one I love how tiny they are but I get those anxiety feelings from when Allie was a baby and I can't wait for when they are 3 months, 6 months and a year. But now that Avie is a year I don't want her to get any older. I love the ages of my kids right now Allie is 4 Aubrie is 2 and Avie 1. We have so much fun together. We play all day Avie is starting to say Bye and Hi and just wants to be like her older sisters. My girls bring me so much happiness. I love watching them and seeing mine and Dusty's personality traits come out in each of them.

Avie was our big surprise baby. I was 7 months pregnant with Aubrie when I found out I was pregnant with her. This was not the plan they were supposed to be 2 1/2 years apart. I had a hard time in the beginning with it. I was nervous to have 3 kids under the age of 3. Patience is not my strongest trait. I love getting out of the house and I kept thinking how in the world will I do that with 3! I remember one time specifically where I was sitting in relief society and I was probably 8 months along and really feeling like how in the world am I going to do this! I started praying and I got this overwhelming feeling that if I asked for help I would not have to do it alone. It was the best feeling and reassurance that I could do this and even though we have had some rough times I know that when I ask for help I have always received it. I love that we never have to do things alone. It just takes us to make the effort and ask. When Avie was born and I held her for the first time I had this feeling come over me that she was supposed to be here on earth at this exact time. It wasn't my plan to have her that soon but it was someones else and I am so grateful that she is here now. I love having 3 girls so close. I love watching the friendships that are starting to grow between them. Avie is so special and I can't imagine life without her!

I can't believe my baby is 4. The last 4 years have done faster then I thought they would. All she wanted for her birthday was a Jessie costume. So I found one and she would not take it off...she wanted to wear it to preschool...to bed...to the park. I gave in and let her wear it to bed and outside to play but she had to wear her clothes if we went in public :)

She keeps telling her birthday was the best...this makes me feel so good. My Mom always made birthday special and I hope i can do that for my kids. She started off the day with the downstairs decorated...her Jessie costume hanging from the light...thats where she wanted it. When she came downstairs she was so excited she just kept jumping up and down.

She wanted rainbow pancakes so I made those for her. Doesn't her hair look amazing!
After breakfast she and to go to school...she kept telling me...Mom now that I am 4 you don't need to walk me into preschool I can do it myself. So when we got to school she jumped out of the car and said bye Mom. So cute...she has not let me walk her in since.

After school Allie had her cousin Ashley and our neighbor boy Luke come over for lunch and games. We painted little lunch boxes and put on washable tattoos and played dress up. After that we took the kids to Kangaroo Zoo. they had a blast and played there for almost 2 hours!

When we got home we had family over for dinner and cake. That night at bedtime she told me Mom today was the best day ever. This just melted my heart! I love my Allie girl!

Scipio Rodeo

The 24th of July is the best in Scipio. There are so many things going on and my kids have such a fun time. We start off the morning with the parade which we get to be in so my kids were really excited about that. Then there is town games at the park where the kids get to run races and play games...after that we head home and relax till the rodeo that night.

Aubrie had a rough night at the rodeo...it all started when she dumped Dutys 42 oz drink all over herself. She does not like to have anything wet on her so she immediately took her clothes off. So she ran around the rodeo for the most part in a diaper and no clothes or just her shorts. I finally got her clothes pretty dry then she spilled her slushie all over herself so I just gave up and let us be white trash :)

My little Aubrie turned 2 on July 21. We decided this year since she does not need any toys we were going to rent a bounce house and have a fun party here at the house. It was so fun and turned just as I pictured.

We got the bounce house from Castle Rock bounces they were great and we were able to have it all day for such a great price!

We had so many friends and Family there it was awesome. my sister-in law Paris and her son Jaxen were driving through Utah and were able to make it to the party. we were so excited to have them here.

Some fun things about Aubrie....she has potty trained herself. One day she just decided she no longer wanted to wear diapers and wanted to go potty on the big potty like Allie. We are still working on it but she is doing sooo good. She has a lot of energy and likes to run around all day long. She talks really well and can say just about anything. My favorite thing she says is when you ask her to do something she says "sure". She has so much spunk and personality I could watch her all day and laugh.

Well after 5 ear infections in 7 weeks we decided it was time for Avie to get ear tubes. She had gotten her first infection just after she turned 2 months and we had one or two about every other week. It was horrible it threw off her whole sleep schedule.

I took her to an ENT who said she had some drainage issues in her ears especially in her left ear so we decided this would be the best thing for her. It has been about a week now and she is doing a lot better. She has been so happy. We are working on getting her to sleep threw the night again since she was so used to getting up and us having to feed her to get her to sleep again. That has not been very fun. But hopefully I can get some sleep again soon!

I love the little outfit she was put in. she was happy that morning which I was grateful for since she could not eat.

Easter in Scipio

Every Year we head down to Scipio for the Easter Egg hunt. They have one of the best egg hunts. My kids love it. We went down Friday night and when we got there they kids got to color Easter eggs. This was Aubrie's first year doing it and she loved it.

Here are all the girls getting their eggs. Except for Avie she enjoyed staying warm wrapped around me.

After the hunt we went back to the house to eat. Allie and her cousin Hanna have so much fun together.

After dinner we usually do and egg hunt outside but since it snowed that morning and it was freezing we all just gathered inside. The kids got eggs and a gift from Grandma and Grandpa Robins. The girls got these cute hats. Aubrie would not take hers off. They looked so cute in them. We had such a great Easter weekend!

Putting up the Tramp

We scored on a 14" tramp on black Friday and I have been waiting to put it up. When we saw that it was going to be nice a few Saturdays ago we decided to do it. The girls helped us out and loved every minute of it. We jumped all day that day and the next day. Then the weather hasn't been that great so we haven't been able to jump very much but I know we will be on it all summer and i can't wait. I think Dusty and I like it just about as much as the kids. The other night we got the kids to bed and we came downstairs and Dusty said do you want to go jump so we did. It was so fun. I can't wait for warmer weather so we can be out there at night and jump the night away!

Avie turned 5 months last week and she is just getting so cute. Se=he looks just like her Daddy (what kids of mine doesn't)

She was so happy this day...I think she enjoyed being outside as much as we did.

THE BEACH RESORT....If you haven't taken your kids here you should...my kids loved it. We went bowling with Becca and Doug and kids...we had a blast.

EASTER DRESSES...I couldn't wait to have my girls wear their Easter dresses...I bought these last year for $4 a piece...I was pretty happy with the way they turned out...now I need to find something for Avie.

I decided I wanted to document my day today.
Woke up at 5:45 made it to my 6:00 gym class got home at 7 and showered. Allie came into my room as i was getting dressed and said she wanted to go downstairs. We came downstairs and started making breakfast for everyone. The girls had pancakes and I had an egg white omlet. Dusty left for work at about 7:30. 7:45 Aubrie woke up brought her downstairs and gave her some pancakes. Cleaned up Allie and her food area. Avie starts crying go up and get her. Come back downstairs and clean up Aubrie.

Change Avie's diaper, made her a bottle and fed her. Girls played pretty good together in the playroom. i turned on some Dora so they would stay by me till I was done feeding Avie. After avie is fed we head upstairs to get the girls in the shower. Girls are in the shower Avie in the bumbo on the counter while I do my hair and get myself ready. Get the girls out of the shower and lotion, dress them and do their hair. Head back downstairs get us all in the playroom and color and draw pictures for Dad.

Aubrie breaks a few crayons and I think she might of tried to eat a few of them. Avie starts fussing so we get her down for her morning nap around 9:15. After Avie is asleep we get make low-fat sugar free chocolate pudding.

Allie and Aubrie fight over who gets to stir it. after that is done we make a snack of strawberries and chocolate pudding. Avie decides to take a short nap today and woke up at 10. Clean up the snack and tell the girls they need to play while i feed Avie again. After avie is feed we play dress ups and we all just hang out. at about 1130 it's time for me to make lunch.

I make lunch get the girls to come to the table and eat lunch. Right when I get them to sit down Avie is fussing so I decide to feed her a little more and put her down for a nap. 12 Avie is down for a nap girls are just about done with lunch. Aubrie is acting a little funny so I go put her down for her nap. I let Allie play her Dora game while i clean up lunch do a load of Laundry and fold clothes that are on the floor in my bedroom.

I get downstairs to relax for a minute and eat my lunch and I hear Aubrie Screaming. So I run upstairs to get her and she is not happy. I don't know what is wrong....she does have her K9's to come in so I don't know if it's teething, ear infection or a UTI. So I bring her downstairs and just hold her. I decide to put a movie on that we all can watch. so we sit in the living room and watch Open Season and have popcorn. Aubrie seems to act better so I am not as worried. 2:30 it's time to get Allie ready for dance. We start the process of getting out the door. Aubrie needs shoes, Allie needs her dance shoes. Avie needs a diaper change.

Get everyone in the car at 2:55 make it to dance at 3:00. Allie dances while me and the girls walk the track. We walk 2 miles. I had to pretty much hold Avie the whole time and push Aubs in the stroller. Allie gets done with dance and we head home at 4. Get home and everyone is crying because they want to be outside but I said it was to cold. Get inside and start making dinner. Get dinner done just in time before Dusty walks in the door at 5:15. Eat dinner. After dinner i go get my visiting teaching done. 6:30 we start the bedtime process. Avie get s a bath the girls need to get their jammies on and brush their teeth. Everyone is in bed and asleep at 7:45. I come downstairs and clean up dinner do another load of laundry and mop the floor. Man I am tired....This was a busy day for me usually it is not this busy.

Bean Museum

Today we decided to venture out and go to the Bean Museum at BYU. I was really nervous to go with just me and the girls something I have not done yet. It actually turned out really fun and the girls loved it. Plus it got everyone tired and ready for naps. I love nap time!

I knew Allie would love it but I was surprised at how much Aubrie liked it as well. She was so good and happy and excited about all the animals.

Avie did really good as well. she was happy to sit in her car seat and smile at me.

Prophets

The other day I caught these two playing prophets. Allie was telling Aubrie you are the Prophet Nephi and I am Lehi. It was so cute. It really made me realize that Family Night was paying off. We have been teaching them the Book or Mormon Stories and they seem to be enjoying it.

I love that the older they are getting the better they are starting to play with each other it really is fun to watch. I can't wait till Avie gets thrown in the mix with them. Aubrie tires to play with Avie but it always ends with Avie screaming cause Aubrie is trying to pick her up or throws a ball at her and saying "catch". i don't think she gets that Avie is just too little.

speaking of Avie she had her 4 month old check up yesterday. She is 15lbs and 25.5 inches long. She had ANOTHER ear infection...that makes 3 ear infections in about 2 weeks...so fun. Other then the ear infection she does really well. She sleeps from about 7 at night till 5 then eats and goes back to sleep till 7:30 or 8. She smiles all the time and is by far my easiest child to get to smile. i just love this girl.

What A Day!

I am sitting here and all the kids are almost to bed. Well Allie and Aubrie are and Dusty is trying to get Avie to sleep. Avie has had a rough last couple of days. It all started Thursday night when she didn't do her normal sleeping routine..i thought well maybe she is having an off night...well then Friday night was just as bad then Saturday night she only slept like maybe 2 hours in like half hour increments. So i took her to the UVP after hours and found out she has DOUBLE ear infections poor kid. We got her some meds and she seemed to do better yesterday. she didn't sleep great last night but she did do a 3 hour stretch so i thought we were on the rise. i was wrong today has seriously been the worst. She has cried non-stop for almost 2 hours then she would fall asleep for 30 min and wake up screaming. I feel so bad for her that she is in this much pain. I got her some numbing ear drops so I hope that helps but man it was a rough day. Days like today make me miss the normal fun days which we almost always have. hopefully the meds will kick in and tomorrow will be better... I just don't want her to hurt and I don't want her to scream like she did today it was horrible!
Anyway...in other kids news...Aubrie is at such a fun/crazy age. She does some really funny things and some other not so fun...Some not so fun it taking her diaper off and pooping EVERYWHERE, Throwing tantrums when i don't understand her and thinking it's funny to run away from me... The fun things are: she always says to me "i want to see that" if I am doing anything she wants to see it, she gives kisses then says "yuck", she makes the cutest smile face and tonight for FHE we played duck duck goose and it was so cute when she figured out what to say. She would always have Dusty be goose she is a big time Daddy's girl..I really could go on and on about this little girl I really do love her.
Allie is in a let's see how far I can push mom mood. At church dusty went to take Aubrie out to change her diaper well Allie wanted to go I told her no and that he would be back soon. I turn my head to get something and turn back to see her laughing down the isle and running as fast as she can. I am sitting there thinking okay I need to get her but what do I do with my baby who is sleeping in the car seat so I asked a lady to keep an eye on Avie and I took off after Allie everyone i swear was laughing at me. This was not the first time she had done this to me. Looking back now it is pretty funny but in the moment I felt so stupid. My kids always keep me on my toes and I love it!

Dallas Trip

Back in October we found some great tickets to fly our whole family to Texas in Feb. to visit Jake, Paris and Jaxen. We were so excited to go. Allie would ask me everyday when are we going on an airplane to see Jaxen. Our flights were really good but the girls did not do that great. Allie did ok as long as she had the ipad or a movie on, Avie pretty much just slept and ate. Aubs was our challenge which I knew going into it she was going to be a problem. So we just tried to entertain her but sometimes we had 10 minute screaming tantrums. Oh well we made it there safe and that is all the counts to me.

The kids hadn't seen each other in almost a year so they were a little shy at first but the warmed up to each other really fast.

We did so many fun things...we went to the amazing parks they have in Texas...seriously they really are so big and amazing.....we went to the fort worth stock yards this was so fun. We had great BBQ and the kids had a lot of fun with the old fashion candy store and petting Zoo. We took the train and went to the Dallas Zoo. Allie talks about the animals she saw there all day long.

At night we would get all the kids to bed and either watch a movie or just sit and visit. it was so fun to spend some time with Jake Paris and Jaxen can't wait to see them again at Newport this summer!!

Avie Robins

Avie Robins was born on the 17th at 7:49pm. She weighed 7.3 and 18 1/2 inches long. She had a pretty tramatic birth but we are so glad she made it here safe and sound. It all started that morning when I decided to get up and clean the upstairs so after Dusty left for work I went upstairs to put laundry away and then next thing I new my water broke. I was so excited. I ran to the bathroom and called Dusty. He had just gotten to work so he hurried and left to come back home. I called my Mom and told her I needed her to come and get my girls. Dusty showed up and we packed up our stuff and took off to the hospital. Once we got there they took me into the room and had me get in a gown and said they would come check and make sure my water broke. Well when the nurse came to check me the paper that they use to see if your water broke is supposed to turn a dark blue and mine was turning yellow. She said it looked like my water did not break but I knew it had so she said she would check me to see if I was dialated and that it might help move the baby out of the way. Well it did and the paper turned blue. We got me all hooked up to the machines and they started me on pitocin. I dialated to a 5 pretty fast then I was ready for my epidural. They gave me the epidural and 5 hours later I was only at a 6! It was taking forever. Avie was not liking the contractions and her heart rate kept dropping lower then they like to see it so they kept watching us very closely. As time went by they were getting concerned because her heart rate was not getting better so they were thinking that the cord was most likely around her neck. This got me all worried I couldn't keep my eyes off the monitors. They kept reassuring me that if things got bad they would do a c-section. I did not want a c-section at all so I started praying. Well about 20 min later I started feeling a lot of pressure down stairs and told the nurse I am feeling a lot of pressure and she said ok lets check you. I was just checked like 30 min prior and so I thought maybe I dialated just a little more no I was at a 10 and ready to go her head was right there we just needed to wait for the doctor. We called my mom and told her she better hurry. When the doctor walked in it was 7:43 and we called my Mom to tell her Avie was here at 7:48. I pushed through 1 contraction and she was out. The cord was around her neck pretty tight the doctor had to cut it off as soon as her head came out but she started crying right off so that took away all my fears. I got to hold her for a little bit then they were concerned about her breathing so they took her. As you can see in the pictures she had to have a c-pap and an IV. After about 2 hours she was cleared and I got to have her back in my arms. I am so grateful to have a happy healthy baby. She has been amazing! She hardly cries and sleeps a lot. The girls love her and are so proud of her it has been so cute to see then interact with her.

Waiting

I hate waiting... I have never been a patient person and this baby is taking way to long for my liking to get here! I just want to see her cute little face and I wonder if she will look like Allie and Aubrie. On a side note...we got Aubrie a twin size bed and put it in Allies room. we have been trying to get her to sleep in it the last few nights and so far we have had 1 night of success. Allie just gets so excited to have Aubrie in her room all they want to do is play. It took them 2 hours the other night to calm down and finally go to sleep. I don't know if I can keep this up. I just keep thinking maybe we should wait till Aubrie is just a few months older then maybe things will be different but I'm thinking Allie will be just as excited. I don't know.... cribs are so easy... you put them in and they can't get out :). I guess we'll keep trying for now but I just don't know how long I want to do this for especially when the baby gets here...which will be Saturday of not before. Here are some pic. of them in their "new" room together. We are still working on wall decorations.

Catch-Up

It's been about 4 months since i last posted. Where did all that time go?? Things are great over here we are doing soo good! We moved into our new home in June and we are loving all of the extra space. I need to get pic up of our house but that would require for it to be clean and right now it is not so maybe next time :). just a quick update on each kid:

Allie turned 3 in September and it was so fun this year cause she new it was her birthday. She has really gotten into princesses so she got a lot of princess dresses, shoes and necklaces. She has become such a good big sister and loves Aubrie so much somtimes too much but still it is cute to see them together. She just started dance and she loves it. Or as she would say Dance is wonderful! She says the funniest things these days and I can't help but laugh all day long!

Aubrie turned 1 in July. She has been walking since she was 10 1/2 months old. she is always wanting to do what her sister Allie does and gets made when she can't. She talks all day long and understands most things coming out of my mouth. She is so smart. she can say Mom, Dad, Grandma, ball, binky, blanky, apple, ball, balloon, Allie, more, done, candy, banana and I am probably leaving out others. She is really letting her personality show right now and we are loving it.

Dusty is still working in Salt lake everyday. I think the drive is getting to him...it would get to me that is for sure but he always comes home so happy and ready to help me with everything. He is such a good Dad and the kids are so excited to see him when he gets home. He just got called at the Young Men's Pres. in our ward so he has been really busy but he is doing such a good job.

Me, I am finally a stay at home Mom. I no longer have a job. This is sad but also really good. Sometimes I don't know how to fill my day but i am sure that will change when this baby gets here. I can't believe we are going to have 3 kids! This blows my mind but I can't wait. I can't wait to see if she will look like the other girls. Anyday now she will be here but if she is not here by the 20th they will take her. I did not want to be in the Hospital over Thanksgiving! Anwyay I think that's a good catch up for today.

Wow what a month. Where did May go?? Time seems to be going by so fast I can't believe it. We have been keeping busy. here's a quick update:
In the middle of may Dusty and I were lucky to go to a trip in Miami all paid for by his work. we went for 4 days three nights and had such a good time just the two of us. We were able to go snorkeling and kyaking and hang out on the beach. It was amazing. Dusty's parents watched our girls and they said they were good for them so that always makes it nice for me :) After that we had a fun Kariokee night with Dusty's friends from High school. We had a blast and it had been so long since we had seen anyone so it was fun to catch up. Then the next weekend Dusty and I and our friends went on a cruise to the Caribbean. We were gone for 8 days total the cruise was only 7 but we had a blast. We went to St. Marteen, Puerto RIco and Labadee Hati. it was SO hot and I have never seen such beautiful places. The ocean was a beautiful blue and white sand beaches. I was ready to come home to my kids but not ready for real life! I've had a hard time adjusting this week. When we got home from our cruise our house had changed so much. We had our floor in,cabinets in, some painting done and the outside done. It is so exciting to see it all coming together. We should be in our house on the 23rd of June and we can't wait. jUst a quick update on the girls. Allie is getting so big and so cute. I love the age she is at she tells me all the time that she loves me and then after she says right Mom right?? Everything is right Mom. I love it and couldn't ask for anything better. Aubrie started crawling in April and has recently been starting to take steps. SHe can take about 3 steps then falls down but it is so cute and Allie is so exciting to have her sister walking soon. I think that is all I hope I can update more but we'll see things are just going to get busier and busier these next few months with moving into our house and then having this new baby! Before i know it "it" will be here. we find out in July! Can't wait.

Surprise surprise...

Well Some of you have heard and other haven't but we are expecting baby number 3 in November. This was a little bit of a surprise for us. We were planning on trying again later this year but it happened a little or A LOT sooner then expected. I didn't believe the pregnancy test so I went to the Hospital and had them draw my blood. I just thought there is no way. But I know now that this little baby is supposed to be in our family and we are excited.

Other stuff that is going on Aubrie got her first tooth today. We were swimming and she keep chewing on her swimsuit and I looked and there it was. she is the best baby in the whole world. Seriously i could not ask for a better baby. She sleeps from 7 at night till 6:30 takes a bottle then goes back to sleep till 8:30 or 9. I love it. Allie has become the cutest little girl with the best imagination. She loves to play barbies. We just got her into a class at the little gym and she loves it. She gets to run around and play with a bunch of kids and it is the highlight of her week. Dusty is busy with school and work. He's has completed 3 classes of his Masters program only 9 more classes to go! I have been busy working and playing with kids and doing all the mother duties. we are still waiting to break ground on our house. Hopefully in the next week or so...cross your fingers.

changes, changes, changes

Well here's an update on what's been going on. We finally sold our condo and moved out of it at the end of January into my parents house in Orem. We were really sad to leave but we know it was the right thing to do at that time. Before we moved out my goal was to have Allie potty trained. I didn't want to push her into it but one day she came to me and said Mom I go potty so I took her in and sure enough she went. I really thought it was going to be really hard but she just picked it up and she has done SO good. Just a couple of weeks ago I decided she was ready to go to bed without a diaper and she woke up in the middle of the night and yelled Mom I need to go potty. It's been so nice to not have to change 2 nasty diapers. Aubrie is now 7 months old and getting cuter and cuter everyday She had Bronchitis twice this winter that has not been fun. She was on breathing treatments for 10 days and so far everything seems to be good. I just hope it doesn't come back. She's rolling all over the place and just about ready to crawl. I love it. I couldn't ask for two cuter girls. Dusty is 2 months into his Masters program and let's just say it takes pretty much any leftover time he has. That's been a little hard for me but I'm so happy for him. He has been playing on a basketball league in Lehi and really liking it. He has gotten so good at basketball and I love watching him play. I am still working twice a week I go back and forth on quitting but that will probably not happen for a while. I have been busy picking colors and all the other stuff for our house. We should break ground on the 16th of March! I am so excited about this and can't wait to be in it. We should be able move in around June but we'll see. Dusty and I and our friends just booked a cruise to the Caribbean for the first of June I can not wait. It's pretty much all I think about. I need some sun.

Wow I swear I've been meaning to update but my life has been SUPER crazy these last few months. I'm finally feeling like I'm getting my feet under me. Here are some pictures of things we've been doing. We went to the pumpkin patch with my family this is a yearly tradition. Dusty went deer hunting so all of us girls played in Scipio. Allie loves playing in the leaves as you can see. I don't have any pictures of here in her Halloween outfit she was a cute bumble bee. Our family ended up going to Arizona the week of Halloween. My Aunt passed away after battling cancer for 12 years. I was so glad we were able to make it for the funeral she is an amazing lady and will be missed.
November came and went as a blurr. I really don't know what we did but I'm sure we had fun. Our ward volleyball team took regionals it was SO much fun. We had such a great team. I'm sad it's over. Oh I almost forgot me and a couple of friends went to Salt Lake for a girls overnighter and saw New Moon. We loved it and couldn't help screaming like junior high girls. We stayed up pretty much all night talking. It was a much needed trip we had so much fun. It was Dusty's first night alone with both girls he did such an amazing job. When I cam home the house was clean both girls were dressed and looked pretty good. I might have to do this more often :)

Anyway that's the last two months in a nutshell. We've got SO many things coming up in December. My brother Jake and his Wife Paris and Jaxen their son come into town next week and we can't wait. Allie is so excited to see Jaxen. I'll make sure and take pictures!!!

Woops... I just realized I didn't give any updates on Aubrie. She is 4 months old now is 16 lbs and is so happy. I swear i forget she is around sometimes because she is so pleasant. I love my girls so much.

Crazy Month

The last couple of weeks have been crazy! I turned 25 on the 20th of September. Dusty made sure that I had the best day ever. He made me breakfast, got the girls ready for church, let me take as long of a nap as I wanted, invited friends over to play games and have cake and ice cream. It really couldn't of been better! You're the best Dust.
I took Allie and Aubrie in to the Doctor on the 25th of September. It was Allie's 2 year checkup and Aubrie's 2 month. Allie weighs 29 1/2 lbs she's 33 inches tall and I can't remember how big her head was. All I know is she is short and stocky. But she is full of energy and loves to run and jump. Aubrie weighs 13 lbs and is 23inches long. She is such a big baby. I'm not used to that. Allie weighed 12 lbs at her 4 month so Aubrie has already past her by! She wears 3-6 month clothing and is the happiest little girl in the whole world. She is sleeping so good. I love it. I can usually get both girls down to bed by 8:30 then I don't have to get up with either of them till about 7:00. It's so nice it really makes a hugs difference.

Allie turned 2 on the 29th of September and it was such a fun day. I can't believe she is 2! Time really goes by fast. She woke up to all her presents on the table and she just kept looking at them and I know she didn't really know what was going on but as the day went by she knew something was up. Dusty's parents stayed with us Monday night so they were there in the morning with us and they came with me to Salt Lake to go to lunch with Dusty. We walked around gateway and let Allie run in the fountains there. She loved it. That night we had a little family party with her. She was so happy and loved all of her gifts. The nest day all she wanted to do was play with her toys. It was hard for her to leave the house! Some fun things about Allie. Every morning when she wakes up she comes directly into my room and says hi mom. She loves to play outside and she loves to play with the boys. I swear she gets a long way better with boys then girls. She loves cars and loves the movie as well. She loves to run up and down the hall in our place she will said ready set go and do this for hours. She loves her baby sister Aubrie. She calls her Aubries and every time Aubrie is down fo a nap Allie will say Aubrie where are you then walk into her room and see her then say Aubrie sleeping Mom. I could go on and on she is so funny talks non stop and has become my little best friend. We love you Allie!!

Just a quick up date this with us. We are doing really good. Allie and Aubrie are such good kids! I love being a Mom. Allie will be 2 at the end of this month and I just can't believe how fast 2 years went. She is growing up so fast. But I love the age she is at right now and I know it will just get better. She has become my little best friend. Aubrie is the best baby ever. I swear this kid is a piece of cake. She has been sleeping from 9-6 for the last week and a half and hardly ever cries. Sometimes I will lay her on the floor come back to her and she has fallen asleep. I never expierenced this with Allie so it's been a whole new ballgame and I LOVE it! I could have another one right now. But Dusty says no way, you need to get your self back to normal. :)
I'm getting there but there is just so much going on. I think I'll feel so much better when this Primary Program is out of the way. It's this coming Sunday and that will relieve a big burden off my shoulders. Hopefully after that I will no be so stressed.

We also put our condo on the market this last week. We found a home that we really like so we need to get this place sold. We've been busy boxing up things and making it so our place looks really open and organized. I hope it sells soon. I love our ward so that will be really hard to move but I really want a home and we just feel that it is time. So, we'll keep you posted on that but if you know of anyone that wants a condo let us know!!

Time has flow by! Aubrie is now 5 weeks old! I can't believe how fast it has gone. She has been such a good baby. I swear I had no idea babies were like this. I love it. I can take her anywhere and she is so happy. We have been keeping busy these last few weeks. Allie is always keeping me on my toes and I just love the stage she is at in her life. Every morning when she wakes up she comes right into my room and says "Hi Mom" I love it then she'll say "where Aubrie" then when she finds Aubrie she says " Hi Aubrie" then hits her. I don't know why but every time she see's Aubrie she just wants to hit her. She threw a shoe at her the other day! So, at this point I'm not sure if she likes her yet. But I think she warming up to it, every day it gets a little better... kind of :)
Last weekend Dusty left for a business trip to Colorado. That was interesting to be alone with two kids. I had one good night and one bad. The bad one was because Allie has been fighting a cold so since Allie had a cold Aubrie has now got it. So I was up with Aubrie then Allie fell off the bed and then I was up with her. So I think that night I got about 2 or maybe 3 hours of sleep! Not the best night. Well ever since last week Aubrie has been a little more fussy then normal so I decided to take her into the doctor today because she has a really bad cough. Well come to find out she has an ear infection! I couldn't believe she already has one. Plus she has thrush. So I am hoping the meds they gave me work and I get my happy baby back. But all of this made me realize how bad the winter is going to be this year. Aubrie is going to get everything Allie gets. I hope we survive.
Oh so when they weight Aubrie to day she weighted 10lbs 5 ounces! I couldn't believe it she has grown 3 lbs in 3 weeks. She LOVES to eat...obviously. Allie wasn't 10lbs till almost 3 months. So funny how different these two are. Anyway here are some pics of both my girls and Dusty.

Aubrie Robins was born on July 21st at 10:00am. My water broke around 11:30 Monday night while Dusty and I just got done cleaning our carpets. We hung around the house for a little bit Dusty needed to shower and I wasn't really having any bad contractions so it was just fine. We had our friend Ashley come and stay with Allie and then we were off to the Hospital. I was admitted around 1:00am given my epidural around 2:00 and as soon as my epidural was in Dusty was passed out of the couch. Good thing I brought a book to read. I couldn't sleep with all the people coming in and out so I just hung out. It took me almost 4 hours to dilate to a 4! Once I got there it seemed to go by pretty fast I jumped to a 7 then another hour I was an 8 that was around nine then from nine till 10:00 things went really fast I was at a 10 before I new it and then it was time to push I pushed through 2 contractions it was seriously maybe 10 min of pushing and she came out. It was amazing! You forget what an amazing feeling that is to see this baby that has been in you for 9 months come into the world. I just wanted to kiss her and hold her. She weighed 7.7 and 18 inches long. Allie was EXACTLY the same. She has a little bit of hair which is actually different then Allie. Allie had nothing but Aubrie has a little fuzz on top. She looks like Allie but there is something that makes her different I can't figure it out yet. She has been such a good baby compared to Allie. Allie was a screamer as soon as we brought her home and Aubrie only cries when she is hungry. It's been such a blessing. Allie still isn't sure of her yet. So hopefully that changes soon. When Aubrie wakes up to eat at night Allie wakes up from Aubrie crying and she gets scared. So Dusty is hoping that changes because I'm taking care of Aubrie so that means he is taking care of Allie. But things are going really well we couldn't of asked for two cuter little girls we are so blessed!

Getting Closer

I went to the doctor today and everything is looking so good. They checked my cervics and I am 70% effaced and 1-2 dialated. I was pretty excited about that until I came home and looked in my journal and realized this is exactly how far I was at 36 weeks with Allie and I went 4 days over!! So, I'm not getting my hopes up that little Aubrie will decide to come early on her own. I will be induced on the 23rd if she doesn't come before that but I'm pretty sure she won't. It's so exciting to get down to the end I can't believe how fast it's gone. Aubrie will you get her already!

Oh and I know I still need to update Newport pictures I'm trying to get all of the pictures from family. I will do it soon! Here's a sneak peak :)

Summer

Well the summer is almost half over I can't believe how fast time flies. Here is a little bit of what we have been up to.

My sister Becca and her Husband Doug went on a trip to Hawaii and so Dusty and I watch Taylor and Ashley for the weekend. We had so much fun with them. We went swimming, played at the park, went out to lunch and had a fun family movie night. Kate and Matt even joined us.

My sister Kasey Left for Africa for a month! We miss her so much. She gets back next Friday. We threw her a great going away party.

We've done A LOT of swimming and eating out.

But probably the best thing we did so far was a trip to New Port beach for 10 days. It was amazing!

I think I will do this in it's own post. SO look for more updates soon!

Doctors Appointment

I went to the doctors today and was in shock at how far along I am. I am now scheduled to go back to the doctors every 2 weeks for appointments. I remember doing this with Allie but it seemed like it was FOREVER away. I can't believe I am already here. I can't wait for her to come she is such an active baby. She moves like crazy. In fact last night she was pushing her little feet out and Dusty was feeling my belly and he stopped and said what is that? So I started feeling and sure enough you could grab her little foot. It was so fun! I love the feeling of this little person inside you. I can't wait to see what she looks like and acts like. The baby is doing really good and I am measuring a week and a half early so that's exciting. Hopefully she will be here sooner rather than later!

Easter

We had such a good Easter this year. We loaded up the car on Friday and made our way to Scipio for the weekend. It was so much fun. Scipio does one of the best Easter egg hunts for the kids and Allie loved it. The competitive side of me came out and I kept telling her hurry hurry :) What's wrong with me?? After the hunt we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Robins and had lunch with everyone. Then that's about all Allie could handle and she was off to bed. About a half hour after she went to bed Dusty and I decided we better nap too. Next thing we all new we had been sleeping for 4 hours!

So, that took up most of our day. After are long nap we did more Easter egg hunting in the backyard this was really fun and the kids loved it! We made it to the Scipio dairy queen for dinner then just hang out the rest of the night. Sunday we woke up and went to church in Scipio then after church loaded up the car and headed to Orem to be with me family. We made it just in time for dinner which was so yummy.. and more Easter egg hunting. We still ahve 2 McCuistions not married so my parents include us adults in the hunt. SO my parents go outside and hide everything and we all go out and get it.

It was really fun. Allie got a cute outfit, more candy, bubbles, a kit and much much more. She gets so spoiled on these Holidays. After that we headed home. We were pretty worn out when we got home but we had so much fun. Before we left Orem my Dad played a video that is on LDS.org and it has Elder Hollands talk about the Atonement along with some pictures. (IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT IT'S A MUST)It was the perfect ending to the day. I love the Easter Holiday I love the whole week preparing for it. I reflect more that week about what the Savior has done for me then any other week. How grateful I am that I don't have to do it alone!

I don't know about you guys but I think there is nothing cuter than your husband putting your kid to bed. I just had to take pictures of Allie and Daddy reading books

and getting ready for bed. Allie loves her Daddy when she wakes up in the morning she yells Mommy then Daddy then if I go and get her out of bed she runs right into our room looking for Daddy. It's so cute. Dusty is such a good Dad he's patient, loving and so fun to be around. When he gets home these two just play and play until bedtime.

something I have been looking forward to my whole life and I love just sitting back and thinking this is exactly how I pictured it. We love you Dusty!!

This weather stinks lately. We were getting used to going outside all day and now we are stuck indoors. So I've been trying to make things more fun for Allie but all she wants to do is play in this basket. I don't know what it is but she loves it so this is how most of our morning went.

Dusty has been busy the last few months studying for his CFP (Certified Financial Planning License) so Allie and I have A LOT of time on our hands with out Dad. He took the test last weekend it's a two day test 10 hours total. I would die sitting in my chair for 4 hours one day and 6 another. But he said that didn't bother him. We won't know the results for 6 weeks! But hopefully he passed it! But while he was away this weekend I decided I better start working on the girls room. I did a black, white and pink color scheme and I love it. It's not all the way done I still have the baby bumper to cover and some wall things but Allie's side of the room is pretty much done. Also, Dusty's sister Stacey bought Allie a little bench it is the cutest thing and Allie loves it. Here's some pictures of her room. Also, Allie started sleeping in her "Big" girl bed and she loves it. She's been sleeping so much better. It's so cute to see her in there but weird to me that she is already this old!

Vegas!!

Like I said in the post below I would be posting about our Vegas trip. We had such a fun time big thanks to my parents and Dusty's for watching Allie for us. We left Monday March 2nd and got to Vegas around 5:00pm. We and two other couples rented a house for the week. This house had 5 bedrooms, big TV's a pool and hot tub, grill, patio...everything! We had the pool heated for the whole time we were there it was the best it was so warm I could stay in there all day. This trip was just a fun relaxing trip. We went swimming, ate, watched movies, ate some more, played tennis, went shopping, ate again, took naps, slept in, played games, spent all of our money on nerf guns and played hide and seek probably the funniest game EVER! The best night was on Wednesday we kicked the boys out of the house and us girls made the best dinner steak, grilled vegis, salad and grasshopper pie for desert. We lit candles all over the house we put on nice clothes. We made little gift baskets for our rooms. So, when the boys came home they came home to a romantic dinner. After dinner we played 21 with bubble gum. Ashley dominated and won the whole bucket of gum. After that we made virgin margaritas and went in the hot tube. It was the best night ever! We were all pretty sad when the trip was over the only thing that would of made it better for me would have been Allie. Everything we did I would say Allie would love this. But it was good for Dusty and I to have that alone time. These pictures are just randomly put on here they are not in order.

I was hoping I would do better but it's been a month since I last posted. Oh well better late then never. Let's see where to begin....Allie got her first X-rays! Yep that's right. On Thursday night she started acting like something was bothering her and she wouldn't walk on her right leg. I decided to wait and see how she did Friday morning and then we would decide from there what to do. Friday morning came and it was worse she wouldn't put any pressure on it and she was crawling everywhere. So we decided we better take her in and make sure everything was okay. They pulled and pushed around and said everything seemed normal but we should probably get X-rays just in case so we did. I was by myself and since I am pregnant I could not go in the X-ray room with her so I waited outside the door while Allie was screaming bloody murder. I'm in the hall just balling. Finally they finished and we waited for the results. Nothing was broken thank goodness but she did have fluid in her hip from her cold so weird! But she's doing fine now! I'm was just glad everything was okay. In other news Dusty and I and some friends spent a week in Vegas it was so much fun. I will be making a post soon with pictures. Also, we are finding out what we are having on WEDNESDAY!!! I can't wait. Here's some random pictures!

Sick Sick

Well Allie's sickness has taken over our whole weekend. She just hasn't been feeling good and she is so congested. But there is a light at the tunnel she seems better today! I'm hoping Dusty and I can both get more than 4 hours of sleep tonight! Wish us luck.
On another note... we had an interesting valentines day. With Allie being sick it kind of took the romance out of the day but we had fun anyway. Dusty got a movie, Allie got some new sunglasses and I got some books. Can't get any better then that. Here are some fun pictures of us.

What a week.....

This week has gone by so fast and I feel like so much has happened. Monday was the usual went to work in the morning made it home in time for Allie to nap nothing really exciting. Tuesday I had my 16 week doctors appointment and I don't know what it is about doctors offices I was waiting in the room for about 20 min. then the doctors comes in for less then 3 min and that's it. I swear I spend the whole time waiting for the doctor. Oh well it's worth it to hear that heart beat and know everything is okay. I find out what I am having on march 18th. I can't wait! Wednesday was a shopping day I just needed to get out of the house so Allie and I made it over to Old Navy and just looked I didn't buy anything witch is unusual for me. That night Dusty had a basketball game and it was the best game ever! They were down by 10 at the half honestly I didn't think they would win because the team they were playing was really good. But they pulled it off in overtime AMAZING! At about 12:30 Wednesday night I woke up and since I had forgotten to take my prenatal vitamin I decided to take it then and then I could fall back asleep through the nausea but Allie woke up because she is getting this really bad cold and I didn't go back to sleep so I ended up throwing up for the next 45 min. Not fun but I felt fine after I threw up. Thursday went to work then I decided to stay at my Mom's for the afternoon and hang out with my sisters. It was really fun. We went shopping at Motherhood and I finally got some cute maternity clothes. I really didn't care for the my clothes when I was pregnant with Allie and when I pulled them all out they look hammered. (remember how HUGE I was with her) So, I spent a little bit of money and finally have stuff I like. Today has been an adventure I woke up this morning to Allie coughing really bad and gagging so I went into her room and brought her in bed with us. When we both woke up I decided we should take a shower together an try and get that mucus cleared out of her nose and throat. She sounded better after the shower but not great. She was eating breakfast when she couldn't stop coughing and I think made her self throw up. So i took her out of her chair and held her to wipe her off and then she decided to really throw up but this time all over me and her. The smell was incredible I about threw up as well. Well after about 5 more times of this and coughing really bad I called the doctor's office to see if there was something I could do for her. As I was on the phone with the nurse Allie was coughing and the nurse asked is that her and I said yes she said maybe you should come in that sounds pretty bad. So I loaded Allie up and to the Doctors we went. She has a really bad cold and an ear infections and 4 teeth trying to come through so not a good week for her. Hopefully we can get her feeling better soon. I hate sick babies but I will say she really is so cute sick all she wants is me and I love it. Plus the long naps aren't to bad. She's been sleeping since noon and it's almost 4. Too bad I've had to clean up throw up, do laundry and disinfect my house. Oh well she's worth all of it. Dusty discovered that in our old camera we had some film in there that we had never gotten developed. We still had about 8 pictures to take but he wasn't sure how old the pictures were. So, we hurried and finished the last 8 pictures up and took the roll to walmart (which was really weird I haven't taken a roll of film to walmart in forever). We just got the pictures back and it was so fun to look at. They are from our first Christmas and our first year of marriage.

Well it's been FOREVER since I last posted on here. I really have been behind. I'm not going to try and catch up because in all reality I won't do it so I will just start with what is going on with us know. We found out in November that I am PREGNANT with baby #2! We are really excited and so far everything is going really well. Allie is becoming my little sidekick. She is so funny and does the cutest things I absolutely love it! We have WAY to much fun together. Dusty is still working in Salt Lake and likes it but hates the commute especially on snowy days! Dusty turned 26 yesterday! I can't believe we are getting this old. Me, him and Allie all went to Sizzler for dinner...sizzler you ask well Dusty had a 15% off coupon that has been burning a hole in his pocket so we went. It was fun except that Allie decided she was not going to sit in the hi-chair they brought or the booster seat. She just wanted to clim around and play in all the food. So we ate fast and left and went to my parents house where most of my family was able to come over and have cake and ice cream and open gifts. After that we put Allie to bed at there house and we went to a move with our friends Jed and Ashley. We had such a fun time. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching Allie!

Anniversary

October 7 was mine and Dusty's 3rd wedding anniversary. We celebrated by this weekend spending a night up at Sundance. Becca and Doug went with us since there anniversary is 3 days after ours. They were celebrating their 5th. Well with all the planning and stress we forgot a camera so I will briefly tell you what happened and you can all imagine it. :) We started the day by dropping the kids off at my parents house big thanks to Katelyn, Kasey and Kenize for watching them. We went to Cascade and played miniture golf. We had prizes for the winner and the losers! Doug won then me, Becca and then Dusty he's just not the best putter. After we went and checked into our room. The boys had no idea so it was really fun when we pulled in they were really excited. We got dressed went to dinner at Fanny's grill in Midway then after we tried to make it back in time to ride the ski lift at Sundance but it was closed so we settled for a movie. After movie we just went back to our own rooms so you could do whatever you could think of...right. Dusty and I had a fire place so we set a fire, ate strawberries and chocolate and talked it was really nice to not have Allie and to be just us. We had such a good time the next morning we got to sleep in go to breakfast then we surprised the boys with a couple message. Dusty wasn't really sure about this but he liked it when we were done. All in all it turned out great next ears it's the boys turn to plan. Big thanks to my sisters for watching Allie Friday and for Dusty's parents to dive all the way from Scipio to watch her all night Friday and Saturday. Here are some really cute pictures of Allie on Friday with her cousin Taylor. For some reason to me these pictures make her look so grown up.

Today was Allie's first birthday. How fun it was to think about all the things that have changed from last year. We started off the birthday last night with movies from when I was pregnant and up till the most recent video we had. How fun it is to go back and watch all of that. Then after that this morning Dusty left before the birthday girl woke up so I made sure and filmed me coming into the room singing Happy Birthday. Apparently I took to long to come in and get her that by the time I came in she was so made at me she just started screaming. Well I made up for that with a yummy breakfast which included pancaked and eggs and fruit she loved it. After eating I threw her in the tub and I think she thought that I needed a present as well so when I left her for just a second to go and grab something from the other bathroom I came back and there was a nice surprise in the tub. That's right there was the biggest piece of poop just hanging out in the tub. So instead of taking 20 minutes to take a bath this took almost an hour. It was disgusting. Once she was dressed we were off to Grandma's to get some shopping done and go to lunch. After that we came home and it was time to set up all of the b-day stuff. I went way overboard on this birthday party. Oh well it's her first right! Anyway, here are just a preview of pictures there will be more to come! Happy birthday Allie we love you!

I have some many things I need to blog about and pictures but for some reason my stupid internet will not upload my pictures!!! It's getting me so mad. Dusty and I and Allie went to Denver Colorado for a Robins family reunion and we had so much fun. All of the family came but Ben and Staci. We all wished they could have been there! It really was so much fun and I have some really cute pictures to post so someday I'll get to it. Other than that nothing new. Dusty just went to Colorado last weekend for work so that was not to fun for me but my family keep me busy with a trip to park city! It was really fun except for the fact that Allie and I both got sick I swear it happens every time we go to that cabin. Last week my sister Kasey, me and Allie flew to Sacramento to visit our sister Katelyn and her husband Matt for the week. We had so much fun! My only wish is that Dusty would have been able to come too. Oh well maybe next time. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Getting Big

Allie is getting so big. I can't believe she is already 7 1/2 months old! She has started to get up on her knees and she pushes herself backwards. I can't for her to start crawling! I know I will probably regret saying that later!

7 day Cruise to Mexico

So, Dusty and I went on a 7 day cruise to Mexico. We went to Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. It was amazing. The hardest thing is that we left Allie! I know how could I do that she's only 7 months. I don't know how I did it. It was really hard I tried not to think about it. But the only good thing is that she did so good. My sister Katelyn and her husband Matt watched her for the first fews days then my in-laws came and watched her then my Mom finished off the week. She was hard the first couple of days but after that everyone said she did great. So that made it really nice. We left Saturaday April 19th and didn't get home till the 27th. It was amazing sitting in the sun it was so warm, getting tan, hanging out at night, sleeping in, eating all the food you want for FREE, being with Dusty and seeing some beautiful cities. It was a blast. Dusty graduated from college and I wanted to do something really fun so we decided this. Plus we got to go with some really fun people! Allie has been tagged her are some of Allie's favorite things:

#1 Allie loves to move her right leg (just like Ella, Amy) she will be laying on the ground and moving just her right leg back and forth. The other day I took her to the park and in the swing she was so excited she was moving that dang right leg it's so funny.

#2 In church when everyone is singing she will sing too. I love it! She just make these high pitched screams and when the music stops she will stop. A couple of Sundays ago they were still finishing the sacrament so the piano was still playing she took off doing her own solo. It was the best.

#3 When she eats something she likes she says "mmmm" and smacks her lips together. I love it when she does this. She loves carrots but her most favorite is a cherry jolly rancher sucker. I know, I know what am I thinking but I can't resist the lip smacking and cute noises.

#4 She just learned how to spit. She spits out her binky and thinks it's so funny. But when it doesn't return she starts to cry.

#5 She loves crowds and being around people. We went to the outdoor expo in Salt Lake a couple of weeks ago and was loving all of the people. She was making all sorts of funny noises and people would come and talk to her and she would smile so big. She loves the attention.

#6 She loves her bath. Every night we give her a bath and she will be a little fussy before but as soon as I take her in the bathroom and lay her on the floor to take her clothes off she is all smiles. She loves to dip her hand in the water then suck her hand.

#7 She will only fall asleep is the blanket is up over her face. I hate this but seriously she loves it. She will pull the blankets so there over her face and sometimes its the only way to get her to calm down. But it doesn't really surprise me since I always wake up to her Dad doing the dame thing.

#8 She loves to make noises i the morning. She will lay in bed for a good half hour just talking to her self and when I come in to get her she smiles so big. It makes my day every morning.

#9 Her Binky is probably her favorite toys. She pulls it out and puts in back in upside down and chews on it and makes all sorts of noise. What would we do without Binky's??

#10 She loves paper. I think its the crumbly noise but she loves it. To get her to stop crying at work I give her a crumbles up piece of paper and she will play for a good 15 min. Today on our way to work I had her 6 month check up sheet in my diaper bag that was sitting next to her and some how she reached over and grabbed the paper and just killed it. Good thing I have her appointment today! Oh well.

First Ear Infection and Fever

I went to the doctor yesterday because Dusty and I were up pretty much all night Tuesday. Allie had the worst cough and runny nose and she was on fire. She was sweating so bad. So, Wednesday morning I took her in. The doctor checked her ears and one of her ears was infected then they looked at her throat and thought she might have strep because her throat was so red. They took a swab of her throat luckily it came back negative so they wanted to test her for RSV and the Flu luckily those were also negative. So we ended up with an ear infection and a fever of 100.6. I gave her Tylenol around the clock which made her sleep all day yesterday but because of her sore throat she would not eat anything. Her diapers were barley wet and on top of that she's got diarrhea. When should I worry about dehydration? She ate a total of 9 ounces yesterday and so far today only 5. I have tried every thing I tried just giving her water she won't take it formula and rice cereal. Nothing she won't drink it she cries every time she swallows I feel so bad for her. Hopefully it will pass soon.

Okay so Allie woke up Sunday morning with a light cough and runny nose. I was a little nervous but was okay since she was acting like her normal self. It seems right now everyone I know is either getting over a cold or thinking they are getting sick so it was only a matter of time before she got it. Today Allie has the worst cough and goes on these coughing spasms where she gags herself and her eyes get all watery. My question to you all is do i just wait till she gets REALLY bad or do I take her in? She is acting normal except for a little more crying today. Her cough doesn't sound like croup or anything. You can hear that she has stuff in her throat. I suck out those boogers all the time and I make sure she has her humidifier on every night. Is there anything else to do?

4 Months Old

Allie made it she's 4 months old and so dang cute. We had her doctors appointment and she weighed a wopping 12 lbs 15 ounce and 24 inches long. SHe's rolling over, trying to sit up but she loves to stand with my help of course. She laughs a lot especially in the morning and she loves to sleep. She has gotten so fun her personality is really starting to show through. Allie can say is that she loves attention adn she knows how to get it.... I wonder who she gets that from?

I received a text at 12:01 on 1/08/08 that Allie had rolled over for the first time. Then she rolled over again two minutes later. It made my day! She is growing up so fast and it is so fun to watch he do so. That night Allie rolled over for me, but of course not for the camera. She also laughed this weekend many times. That was also a treat. We were able to capture her laughing on camera.

Salt Lake Overnighter

Every year my family goes to Salt Lake and stays overnight. We get up there around 5 and then go to dinner and then after that bundle up really warm and walk around temple square. It is such a fun tradition. We look forward to it every year. This year we had to get 3 rooms! I can't believe how big our family is getting!

I was in Walmart at the check out stand and Allie started to make those noises. You know the red face and pushing really hard. So, when I got through the line she was still trying to get it all out. I decided to drive home and let her finish. I live about 15 -20 minutes from walmart depending on traffic. When I got home did I get a surprise:

It was everywhere all over her back on her shoulder? Don't ask me how but I couldn't believe how much poop there was. Needless to say she had to take a bath to get all the poop off of her. I had to throw away the onesies because there was just too much poop and I wasn't going to try to scrub it off.

The past 2 years Dustin and I have purchased a cutting down tree permit (I don't know what it's exactly called) so we can cut down our own tree for Christmas. Last year I got to hike with Dusty and pick out the tree. This year I stayed in the car with Al and told Dusty what I wanted on the radios. (Thats the way to do it!)

Dustin and I got to go to the BYU Utah game and it was amazing! My Dad has the best seats! It's like you can touch the field. Here is a picture of the field from our seats.

Everyone says that when you child starts to smile and make noises it is the best thing. It makes all of those hard days worth it. I would have to agree. Allie has been such a happier baby now that we got her on Prevacid. She just seems content. I can't complain anymore. Since we have gotten all the kinks worked out she has been sleeping from about 9:00pm to 7:00am. I know I am lucky. This moring I had to wake her up at 7:30 so we could make it to work on time. She loves to sleep. Just like her Dad.

We go to Scipio every year for the traditional deer hunt. All the boys go out hunting while us girls stay home and relax. We brought Allie for her first overnighter! She did okay. A Day At Work

Thanks to a kind boss who let me keep my job and bring my baby to work Allie and I get up every morning at 6:30 and try to make it out the door by 8:00 so I can be to work by 8:30. So far so good. For the most part Allie is good for me at work but she always seems to cry when the phone rings! I learned a new trick that she loves to be on the floor. Here are some pictures of here on the floor today. I love taking pictures of her becasue in every picture she looks so different! She will be 5 weeks on Saturday I can't believe how fast it's gone. oh and she slept 8 hours again last night and the night before!! I hope this is her schedule for here on out. I love the sleep.

I don't know what it was but Allie slept from 11:00pm to 7:00am last night! My first thought was is she sick?? There has to be something wrong for a 4 week old to sleep that long. I called my Mom and she said calm down you should be happy. You see, Allie has been kind of a challenge baby she cries all the time. We have taken her to the witch doctor, chiropractor and the pediatrician. We have tried 6 different formulas, liver drops, kide-call and mylocon drops and nothing has helped. I went to the pediatrician on Wednesday bec

ause they wanted to see if she had acid reflux which they think she does so now we are trying prev acid. I took her to the chiropractor yesterday and she loved it. So maybe those two things are the reason she has been so happy. I don't know but what ever it was it was such a nice break to have a happy baby.

I have heard it a million times that once you have a baby you don't get much sleep. Well that saying is very true. (Just ask Kristin) Allie likes to come alive at night. She makes so much noise at night that it keeps everyone up. And it doesn't help that from 10:00 to 12:00 is her favorite time to cry for no reason.

Despite all this we still love Allie. She is a bundle of joy and can't imagine life without her.
